FLY FISHING TOUR

10 Day 1500$

FLY FISHING TOUR

OVERVIEW

The Khoton and Khurgan Lakes are second largest and clearest of all lakes in Mongolia, with average depth of 26 meters and the deepest places reaching down to 58 meters. Khoton and Khurgan Lakes are home to the grayling (thymallus arcticus) and the lenok (brachymystax lenok). The lakes are located in an intermountain tectonic depression in the northern portion of the Mongolian Altai Region. The lakes themselves, as well as the mountain rivers which feed into the lakes, offer excellent sport fishing in a rugged and virtually unpopulated area. The nature surrounding the lakes is beautiful with forests and snow-capped mountains of Altai mountain range.
